The fall season has arrived and with it comes the vast amount of fall activities. One of the most popular activities in the season is to take part in the great tradition of visiting the apple orchards. There are literally thousands of them across the USA but here are the 5 best ones to visit, each one in a different state:

  • Apple Valley Orchards - Cleveland, TN

In addition, bring home goods from the gift shop such as delicious apple butter, peach and blackberry jams, sweet jalapenos, apple cider and even fresh pies.

  • Applewood Orchards - Warwick, NY
This orchard is unique as it not only allows visitors to come and pick over 8 different varieties of apples; it contains a see a winery for omemade wines and hard apple cider being brewed. This is the place waiting for you and your family with other activities such as pumpkin picking, hay rides, and more! Be warned: it closes in mid-October, so visitors should get there ASAP.

  • Carter Mountain Orchard - Charlottesville, Virginia
