The 1936 film brought ‘instant’ stardom, leading to a lifelong career with Warner Brothers, culminating with the Best Actor Academy Award for his role in “The African Queen.”

The Humphrey Bogart Film Festival will be taking place on May 2 -5 in Key Largo and is hosted by Stephen Bogart, Humphrey’s son.  Notable film critic Leonard Maltin will be there to give commentary. This is one celebration no self-respecting film fan should miss.
