Getting ready to be on display at the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) is Van Gogh’s “Bedroom in Arles.." The painting is a loan directly from the Musée d'Orsay in Paris and is what many consider one of Van Gogh’s best depicting his mood and style.

“Bedroom in Arles" was a title given to each of three similar paintings with the original produced in 1888. The first version sits in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. However, it was damaged in a flood while the artist was in the hospital at Arles, France.
