Golden Globes Awards is the prelude to a host of other world-wind prizes presented to celebrities for film, music, TV, country, Broadway and more. Satirical comedian, Ricky Gervais hosted the event once again. The deciding votes for the nominees are connected through the Hollywood Foreign Press Association by 90 journalists.
The winners are ecstatic, the results full of surprises, and the gowns on the red carpet were definitely head-turners.
Standing out from the crowd as an ever-so-stunning winner for the best dress red carpet diva was Claire Danes. She donned a black J. Mendel silk crepe dress with white bodice that was reminisces of the sophistication of an Audrey Hepburn and offers an Art Deco appeal.
She revealed a low open back completely embellished. She also happened to nominated for her role in Showtime’s hit show, “Homeland!” for Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama Television Series. By the end of the evening, not only was Claire a winner of the fashion fest but her hand held the coveted Golden Globe.
